Harold Hutchinson Neave, wife Agnes, and family arrived on Francois Lake from Saskatchewan in 1941. They were headed for Marilla but ended up staying at Francois. They operated Neave's Store and later the Post Office untill son Hugh retired in 1999.
Harold died November 20th 1967 at Burns Lake aged 83. Both he and Agnes are buried in St Luke's churchyard.
