Walter Henry Williscroft & his family lived for awhile along Francois Lake. He is known to have worked on the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway construction line. Walter was born in Port Simpson BC on January 24, 1883. He married Beatrice Price on November 10, 1910 in Prince Rupert District, BC. She was born on June 9, 1891 in London, England. She passed away in Terrace BC on April 29, 1946. Walter passed away in Victoria on February 12, 1972.

They had four children:
